AP Calculus will explore limits, derivatives and integrals. We will look at applications for each of these topics which has led to many of the technological advances we are able to access today. The purpose of this class is to prepare students for the AP Exam. Part of the students' grade will be taking the AP exam. There will be a heavy workload in this class, since the test is in May.
After the AP exam, we will begin exploring logic. I have a book, but the students will not have books. We will go slower at this point, and most of the work will be done in class to help alleviate the load as graduation approaches.
